In this godless world how does one find the inspiration for morals and discipline?
I always find myself falling astray from trying to live a normal life.
National Socialism/Fascism.
Have some lines in the sand, just don't flaunt them. We are only human so anyone can make a mistake.
You don't do something because god told you to, you do it because it is the kind, just, honest, and/or smart thing to do.
It's all about how you think you should be treated yourself. Even though the Golden Rule has the reputation of being based in religion it is actually a very secular humanist ideal. You like being treated fairly, and with manners, so show the same for other people.
There can still be an Ayn Rand selfishness to your life in that ultimately you do have to make sure that you don't sacrifice so much of yourself that you don't reach your success goals.
I'm an atheist and I have absolutely no problem with every day courtesy and gratitude. I'm not an altrusitic type, but I can be generous to my immediate circle, when I can.

Sexual fetishism of morals and discipline.
Empathy above self.
aka, selflessness.

Morales don't come from religion. They are found there, yes, but there is no reason why you cannot follow rules outside of the context of religion.
LAWS keep order. They follow just cause (well, we hope and we must strive for this).
Laws respect all. Religion only respect some.

Morals is not being a fucking toolbag. You will earn people's trust and respect along the way
Discipline sets you apart from the mediocre and underachieving. A simple mindset change makes wonders
So, do you want to be successful and respected?

Statists disgust me . Laws prevent people from doing bad things ? Lmao. Is that why the drug war is so succesful ? Are you legitimately telling me if there wasn't a law against murder you would be shooting everyone in the street left and right ?

Read up on philosophy and find a mindset to live by.

There is no other answer than nationalism/fascism.
You will never be whole if you don't recognize the importance of the nation.

There are degrees between those two points, you know. Of course I wouldn't shoot people left and right. But there is one person I would probably have gone for, if I could have done so without going to prison. I suspect that there are a great many people like me: not omnicidal maniacs or even would-be mass shooters, but enough in aggregate to take out a major chunk of the population.
