I listen. People spend an entire year talking about the stuff they like. You've only had a few months but surely there has been something your SO has mentioned.

I'm getting my mom a pair of sunglasses which look incredibly like the ones that my brother and I pooled our resources to get her back when we were little, because she lost those sunglasses very soon after we got them for her and she felt horrible about it.

Gonna put them in a box and rig the box to play music.
