come on man idk I'm still socially awkward too and you don't gotta go out and make friends thats fucking creepy but at least in your class or wherever you're studying you can make friends. It's very easy to. Just talk to someone about homework at first and bring up other shit it's not hard. Many people have talked to me in class or when I'm at the library for hours simply cuz I talked back and listened and asked questions if I wondered something. It's basic communications. Or get a job it really helps get out of your shell just do it man you can't be cooped up forever I know your mom would probably say the same. Just take it from an anon that knows

I wasn't exaggerating. I haven't left the house since August when I got sick.

I know that a lot of 'NEETs' and others on 4chan claim to be as such but aren't really, but that's not the case here.

I'm 22, I'm haven't been in education since I was 16. I'm currently on a couple different forms of disability welfare (not sure what Americans would call it) due to mental illnesses including agoraphobia and have a therapist that comes by once per week but we don't discuss things like loneliness. The state pays for my therapy. The only diagnoses I have are from this therapist (as well as a GP I had to visit monthly a couple years ago).

If I were into the whole Tumblr thing I would be posting on Tumblr.

I've been talked with a couple therapists they usually don't know what they're doing. They disagnose from what you tell them so ofc they're gonna say you're agoraphobic if you say you hate going out. First thing they want to do is usually get you on some pills that make you feel worse. I don't know many ima leave this thread. You come for advice and don't heed the advice.
