Thinking of getting blackout drunk and taking pills and falling asleep on train tracks. Better ideas?

A few weeks ago I saw a live suicide in train tracks. The screams of people passing by were pretty horrifying. A woman next to me passed out. They had to put the train on hold and move everyone to another train after a long while.
It scared me a lot because I always think about jumping into the train when I'm about to take it.
I don't understand your reasons for wanting to kill yourself but please decide if you want to make other people's day miserable, I mean in this case people you haven't met who will be in or around the train.

Night trains are rare, even rarer to find with out the correct information. Train drivers have to sleep some time.

Shoot yourself with a. 22 lr caliber rifle or pistol. DO NOT use any other caliber, a. 22lr will go through you skill, but won't have enough speed to exit, it'll bounce around in your skull. Not sure why not

you have to position yourself such that you get decapitated by the wheels or something and not just have your leggs amputated and slowly bleed to death.
my advise: OD on heroin, it's foolproof, relatively comfortable and it's only fucked up for the person who finds your body but not as fucked up as finding you splattered.

Op, maybe you should look for some spiritual guidance or something. I've been in a place like yours, and you just have to look on the bright side, day after day, and things get better.
