>>
Even the shittiest people can get girlfriends. It's not hard, you just suck
>>
You need to have either

1) friends first

or

2) a job

if you don't have these two things then you're exceptionally lucky to be with someone

no money / no social group = as you would guess...
>>
Stop basing self worth on having a GF and that'll be a start

Figure out what women want emotionally and physically.

Work on giving them that

then if you're OP, ask your friends "do you have any single friends?" then go up to strange girls saying "will you go out with me?" then take out an advert, join classes where vulnerable people hang out, that sort of thing.

A good relationship is a supplement to your life, not a detriment

The ultimate trick to getting girls is to not act like you're trying to get laid right off the bat. Get to know them. Know what they like and dislike. Building attraction takes time and when it clicks for a girl, you'll know. Don't be a beta faggot and wait on her hand and foot. Treat her like you would a good friend, with the occasional flirt or gift mixed in. If that doesn't work she's either not interested in you or you're just extremely ugly. But that's for you to decide.
>>
I dunno bro. I'm a fucking loser and I met my girlfriend at a bar downtown.

She coaches gymnastics.

Fucking gymnastics, bro.
>>
>>16519370
You know she'll fit easily into a suitcase when you're done with the relationship.
>>
>>16519375
holy shit thank you for the laugh
>>
I always just send them dick pics with the caption "U WANT DIS?" If they respond in the negative then just resend them, slightly increasing the zoom each time.
>>
>>16519134
>why is it so fucking hard?
Because you're treating it like a process. The big secret to getting a girlfriend us understanding that there is no "how" to it: there are a couple of particular events that need to happen in a particuular order, but there isn't anything like an unbroken chain of causality between them.

It's not. But I'm assuming you're looking for quality. Good luck.
>>
>>16519265
this seems like more "how to keep a relationship" than how to catch a girlfriend. I always went for the ones with self esteem issues, and romantized every notion towards them.
>>
>how do i get a girlfriend?
Talk to attractive women, make them smile, invite them to do fun activities with you, flirt, do the fun things they enjoy with them, flirt more, do new things together, keep flirting, be considerate of their needs while fulfilling your own, still flirting, talk about commitment and then have copious animal sex.

>why is it so fucking hard?
I don't know why it's hard for you specifically. In general on /adv/ I find the most common reason to be that guys suck at relating to girls. They lack the ability to put themselves in a girl's shoes at each stage and ask "what is she looking for?" I tell them that the number one thing a girl wants from talking to a new guy and going on a first date is to have a ridiculously fun time. Smiles, laughs, excitement. This is apparently a totally alien concept to men who instead think it's about biographical questions and paying for her dinner. For fuck's sake, there's actually a song called "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun." Take a hint.

>how do i get a girlfriend?
1. Make yourself phyiscally attractive. Work out, get a decent hair cut, dress sharp.
2. Chat up girls. Flirt. Get into action.
3. Learn to take rejections. It doesnt matter how many girl turn you down as long as you try. Every try is a success for itself.
4. Stop worrying about why something didnt work. It doesnt matter. Take it easy. Stop worrying, just go out and try.
>>
>>16519688
Yeah this guy speaks a lot of truth:
>1. Make yourself phyiscally attractive. Work out, get a decent hair cut, dress sharp.
Two thirds of this you can do tomorrow, the other one takes more time. Still worth doing though (shows you have a hobby).
>2. Chat up girls. Flirt. Get into action.
Just talking to them is a good start. When you be flirty, make sure that you're comfortable about doing it. It could be out socialising, but not at work. And don't sound really creepy either - creepy funny is good, so long as you make it clear it's creepy funny. I.e. she says she finds a guy hot - I usually say OH YES I LIKE THAT PIECE OF MAN MEAT TOO MMMM or some stupid crazy shit like that. Gets some laughs.
>3. Learn to take rejections. It doesnt matter how many girl turn you down as long as you try. Every try is a success for itself.
This. I've been rejected so much I take it in my stride. It'll hurt the most with the first one, then less with the second, and it'll keep reducing until finally you don't give a shit.
>4. Stop worrying about why something didnt work. It doesnt matter. Take it easy. Stop worrying, just go out and try.
This as well.

Just go out and try. Experiment. Learn. And above all have fun!

It's not hard, it's just a long learning process for many men.

first of all get yourself talking to many girls, your dream-girl won't have "anons dream girl" written on her forehead. Learn to get comfortable and open, the whole "just be yourself" mantra is actually true, but only works if you can be relaxed enough to show your true self. If you think your true self isn't attractive, try working on it by pinpointing errors rather than hiding it.
The paradigm-shift that got me into the pussy is that I stopped trying to get into her bed and started investigating whose bed i'm getting into. I know my body's good, I know my goofy nerdyness and even my (at times)submissive sexual behaviour is not the turndown i thought them to be.They're actually attractive to the right kind of girl. But selecting for that kind of girl rather than adjusting myself to fit a "normal" one is what ended up being key.
>>
>>16519688
I agree.
I ended up biting many sour apples, and when I finally "gave up" on the chase, it took about a week before i found the love of my life.
2 year wedding anniversary in mid-december..

I was unemployed, was in a deep pit, no self-esteem etc. but I found a job, even though it's crap..
>>
>4. Stop worrying about why something didnt work. It doesnt matter. Take it easy. Stop worrying, just go out and try.
I half agree, worrying is definetly wrong, but learning from it is good. Also realise that it's a matter of compatibility and not a game where you win if you "get her".

I'd say that learning from a short-lived relation can only happen in hindsight, at least one person later.
>>
>>16519688
>decent hair cut
>decent

Define "decent".
>>
>>16520735
To the point you consider your hair a +1 cha modifier.

>do you have any single friends

Implies that you're desperate as fuck and would literally take anything that has a pulse.

No matter how much this may be true, nobody should ever actually follow through with this line of thinking.

This advice is up there with "Just talk to a girl, see if she's interested and if not just move on to the next one and repeat until you get success"

Dying as a virgin is less pathetic than the above.

Fuck, i wish i could just fast forward to the part where im not fat anymore.
For the this is pretty much a "come back in 10 months and try again, fatty"
>>
>>16521250
Well looking good gets you in the door and perhaps provide more opportunities, that's for sure.

But honestly unless you are morbidly obese you shouldn't have a huge problem. Many girls don't even care as long as you have other things going for you. Hell, some even seem to enjoy the slightly chubby/teddy bear/dad bod shit so you might already be fine.
>>
>>16520861
He's not wrong though.
The last chick that was into me cut me off by saying "sorry, I don't date younger guys anymore" and got together with someone the same age as me but with money.

>>

all women are like this and they will hate you and resent you forever for wasting her youth. she needs her beauty because with it she will never suffer or be hungry. this is why women become hate full of men who wasted their time when they didn't make the money she was expecting out of the guy she dated.
>>
>>16520735
Anything that makes it clear you aren't just ignoring it. This isn't the same thing as "anything that involves cutting your hair"; you need something that flatters the shape of your face and that you don't mind caring for. A barber or hairstylist can help you find something.
>>
>>16521345
>He's not wrong though.
He is both both right and wrong, depends on if you are into golddiggers or not.
- At best you are in the midst of educating yourself within a field onto which you are to be assured having an ok/good job position when you graduate and thus will both do something that you are passionate about and make enough money to put a fixed percentage of income aside monthly for savings without having to eat pasta and ketchup at end of every month.
>>16521412
Whilst I recognise your claim I cant help but cringe at the whole situation of the woman relying on (read: piggybacking) the male to be the sole provider for her + potential offspring, holidays, dinners/nights outs, gigs, occational flowers, cars, house, mortgages ect. for the rest of both of your lives.
- I mean sure, it can be like that but isnt it a bit 1950ies like?
..or chances are that you live in a third world country where it isnt the norm for both man and woman to be employed.

- Where I am from, its the norm to be financially independent after studies are completed.
4-5000e before taxes isnt unusual even after getting your bachelor degrees.
>>
>>16521376
I've got friends, but they don't know any single women, and I'm reliably told none of them would go out with me on principle.
>>
>>16521382
>god that is so pathetic
it's a fact of life though.

Women and friendships are strange. They have to be able to withstand sobriety and disaster.
