There's someone I like, but I'm kind of getting mixed messages in return. What do I do?

I say 'mixed signals' because occasions of showing that kind of interest in me are quite rare; very usually there's no such interest.
If it's a guy, he's obviously into you. If it's a girl, she's not that into you.
