Not too many... I can see what I can scrounge up. To be honest, I'm kind of the opposite of a foot fetishist. I think it's hot when women wear footwear during sex. Despite that, I'm willing to focus on feet if that's what you want, but we might have to communicate a bit to make sure the way I'm drawing them is appealing to you... I had a chance to make $200 on a short 3 page comic, but I got burnt out on the project (partially due to some RL issues that were fucking with me) before I could finish it. The commissioner was a friend, so I just gave him what I had finished for free.

The first commission I ever did was for 50$ [shaded pencil drawing w/ long story to go with it]. I didn't even have pricings figured out yet and was only going to ask for 15$ for it since I'm a tard and am always underselling myself. They were thankfully an incredibly kind person that wouldn't allow me to accept anything under 50$ for my work, and their limit was 100$ [I reluctantly accepted 50$].
Turns out they're an artist who undersold themselves in commissions a lot too; I'm very thankful they were the first person to hire me.

Animation is based off of this from an H-game.
I don't know the usual cost for an animation, but I think it was an okay price for it to be a little interactive. Took about a month's worth of weekends and I got to see the entire process get done. He seems to be a pretty chill guy.

I swear I'll never take so many pieces again, that shit was pure greed on my part. I just had no idea the client was going to be a harasser (he went after another artist friend and started bothering her about my progress, she had to block him eventually).
I felt extremely unmotivated to draw for months because the person gave me a really terrible experience as an artist but I know better know...
Looking back, the sketches weren't that good to begin with but, considering I actually lowered the final price a lot (it was way more than $90), that is a bit justified.
I just get 2-3 slots nowadays but I feel much more relieved and the people I work for have been all great.

As far as prices go, depending on complexity, I'm thinking $15 for a sketch with one character, reasonable detail etc, then an additional $5 per extra character.
If it's just an outlined figure/hoverdick etc then no charge there.

Well the difficulty of drawing something like that isn't the content but conveying chronological series of events. You'd need a comic type thing or series of pics.

Most I've ever spent must have been a little over $100 dollars. It was Norasuko though and it was 3 main characters and 3 anonymous men in full color and background. This was back in 2013 though, so his value has rightfully gone up since then.
The one artist I've spent the most on though is Brainsickskull. He was always so quick with his output and I loved his style. I especially liked his sketch pages because they became little comics and I let him have mostly free reign so that it'd be more of a surprise for me.
I'm new to commissions but the most I've made on one is $50 which I'm quite happy with. Hopefully it's a record that can be broken! :D

Miamelly got me done in under 24 hours, and gave me a free touch up after I stated what I wanted incorrectly. Grade A guy, at least for loli. Orangy was a color commission, but was still really fast for thar, so his linearts are probably lickety split. He also keeps you informed step by step, so typically, his finished product is really well polished. Both are superb and I'd recommend.

No. I know the difference. Inked work uses a hard pen or ink brush while my sketches uses a textured pencil brush. The sketch lets me have a bit more wiggle room while i have to be more precise with inking. What what you are thinking of is something like a rough sketch

I still need to get payment method figured out and find the right driver for this scanner. Jobless and pretty broke right now, gonna be hooking it up to my bf computer because my old one is about dead. Hoping I don't have to get a new scanner yet.
I'll be taking commissions in black and white pen on paper as soon as I can, and then it will be awhile before color will be available. I'm used to traditional mediums and will see what I can do with colored inks and multimedia. Scanners can be such a pain in the ass, though, I can see why so many people do digital exclusively.

There's lolita style art and then there's the lolitas that are very clearly under developed, so there is a difference. In some places drawings of child porn can still get you arrested. In America I think it varies from state to state and some laws are so vaguely worded that people on a witch hunt can interpret it loosely.

I can understand wanting to keep it separate though all the same, but either way it's down to the artists wishes and should probably state it somewhere on their commission page just in case it's an issue or something if that makes sense.

No i do not, i use Sai but the files can be saved as psd since sometimes i do use Photoshop for some extra effects. But i rarely use Photoshop.
So a hypothetical here, if you commission a written work, the final price is 80 dollers, and they make you do a down payment of 50 percent before they start. Then when they do, they only give you half of what you are paying for, tell you that what you asked for is in the work, and that the down payment would be sufficient payment. You obviously paid the author to make a work within a certain word range of your quota, and the story he gives you feels incredably rushed. What options would one have?

Well, thing is, people like me and others have a reputation to uphold. Tell others about this persons behavior. Also, ask for your money back and if they do not, make sure others know about this. Then this person will lose work. Kind of the reason why i go out of my way to make my clients happy.

This is why I don't like story commissions compared to drawn ones. Drawn ones take effort and time and you can't just give them a stick figure.
Written ones can just be verbal garbage written a couple of hours before their arbitrary deadline.
I've commissioned two stories. One was bad and I probably won't open the file again. The other was excellent, captured exactly what I was looking for and was worth the cash.
