I remember being hungry for Cortana porn after the first game came out and being blown away at how long it seemed to take for decent pics to surface. Seemed like there were less than a dozen of note for years and you just had to make due.
Given that most legacy repositories of cartoon porn didn't surface until after Halo 2, I can't help but wonder and lament at how many decent images were lost to the annals of the early net. Now we have almost the polar opposite problem where art blogs exist in such quantities that some lesser known shit is undoubtedly falling through the cracks of collective awareness. Ironic how a shift in environment that initially solved this problem could circle back around and help cause it again.

I have an entire LoZ alt universe manga from some guy on DA that he has since expunged due to that exact compulsion. You run into moments like that every now and then, where you get the feeling that certain content you posses may no longer exist anywhere else but your hard drive. It's a weird feeling, and one that I've experienced enough times that I will likely never shake this horrible addiction.
It's seriously a huge time sink. I'd get more accomplished with a straight swap to alcoholism.
