It looks like he has a LOT of animating left to do, not to mention there might be an intro and credits still missing. Remember that this thing is 13+ minutes long, and animated from scratch. If zone was on patreon or had other people working on it he'd be releasing a lot more often, but isn't the very reason that he's so popular that he spends so much time making sure everything is perfect by his own standards?
Based on his streams he seems to be able to do about 6 seconds of animation a day, If the storyboard, sound and background are all complete, which they seem to be. At that rate it definitely isn't another year away.
