According to ULMF much of the maze section is going to be reworked and they are going to put it in the later half of the game. I found the maze section to be easy once I figured out the robot in the main circuit room will drop all the fuses you used after you went through 3 rooms but I have to press the use key to pick them up. Their is no indicator I could pick up the fuses which is was a problem.
The game is still very early so I"m not too worried about it.

For the developers in the thread, how do you usually go about designing outfits for your characters? I've been fucking with concepts for a character of my own, but deciding what they'll actually wear has been more difficult than I initially thought.

I'm no expert or anything but I just look at other character designs and see things I like about them. Mostly things like general color schemes and patterns they put on clothing and then I try to do my own outfit with those ideas.
Sorry to bother you guys but I`m trying to remember the name of an H game I played a year or so ago. I remember that I enjoyed it far to much and now want to see if any more progress has been made.
I'll describe it best I can.
It's 3D still pictures.
You play this very hard to describe matching card game.
It starts out with your character being transported to the moon and being trained on how to play said card game.
If anyone has an Idea I'd be very grateful.

I'm kind of the odd one out when it comes to making h-games I assume because I go over the top with designing everything to be as logical as possible, but maybe this'll help;
Once you have your character's personality and background designed, think about how they get around and what the game type needs.
For example, let's say you've got some sort of warrior chick in an RPG; is she bulky? Give her more armor that someone of her stature could hoist around. Is the RPG set in the distant past? Research what sort of armor would be available during that period, and use similar armors, or if it's a fantasy game, feel free to add on things that fit the overall feel of your game (like if she's a tanky spellcaster, add some runes on the outfit, possibly even in the language of her people if you're designing a language or something like that).
Or, if it's a sci-fi game, research what sort of materials would cause light/heat or heavy impacts to bounce harmlessly off of the material. Essentially, one way to design outfits is to figure out what the character needs in terms of utility or necessity to function the way you want them to function in the game's gameplay, and then use those as the building blocks or core elements of the outfit when designing it, having the rest of the outfit "sprout" out from those core elements.
If you're not too worried about functionality within the game, and it's say, a VN or they're just an NPC and they're not too fleshed out, google traits of the character (say, long hair, black hair, glasses, hourglass shape) and add the word "fashion" on it; you'll get a load of pictures of women with that look in different fashions, but you'll likely start to see a trend with some of the women who are dressing to fit their figure or appearance. That can be a good starting block for an outfit if you're doing something in modern times.
I'd continue on but the comment's too long past this point; I hope this helped some!

Long story short: I don't. I come up with concepts and needs and then the artists design outfits to match those needs.
For instance Home Invasion. There are five days and five steps. We'll use Kira for an example. I wanted to take some steps a bit like bimboification without the stupidity, so I decided to do things a bit different. Kira here is going to go from an uptight girl to a JAP, or Jewish American Princess stereotype with an emphasis on exhibitionism.
That was more or less the direction I gave. Five steps transitioning from one to the other. I defined more or less what would happen at each of the five steps.
Day 0-1 are "Normal" and uptight.
Day 2 is "normal sexified". Basically the girls let their hair down and maybe show a bit of cleavage.
Day 3 is "Sexy". These are normal though sexy outfits for the most part.
Day 4 is "lewd". These are outfits you might see in a club or a bedroom, but not under normal circumstances.
Day 5 is "full slutty." These are things that can't be worn in public and belong mostly in sex clubs or the bedroom.
I'll show you some of the design sketches for the process she'll be going through.

Mindwipe did these sketches, and this was the first attempt at capturing a bit of the stereotype I was using. Note that I'm not spelling it out in-game; people who are familiar with it will be able to see it.

And now the remainder of the days. You can see that Day 3 is her sort of embracing the "alternate personality" for a bit. This is the same outfit as the previous picture, obviously. Day 4 is a step above that. It plays off her exhibitionism streak; she shows a lot but hides enough that she still has a lot to show. Day five is just her totally embracing it and wearing just enough that flashing is easy as can be.
I used the same method with the backgrounds. You'll have to pardon these not being in color; F-ing (the artist that is doing all backgrounds on the project outside the normal sex scenes) is working on it.
First day: A perfect room, everything is totally ruler-line perfect.

All the backgrounds have variations like this. Same direction giving method was used with costumes and backgrounds. It works pretty well if you can find artists that don't need too much hand holding.

Still, since I don't think there is a market you could sell porn games on there I don't think you could make a profit off of something you made for a phone.

Right, but we aren't really "selling" games at this point, are we? Especially with the advent of both piracy and patreon, we're releasing the games to the public, and the people who like the game enough to throw creators some money do so.
Honestly it comes down more to the convenience of computers than a platform to sell the game. If a creator can make a functional port onto android or iOS it seems like a no-brainer to at least give the players that option. Obviously though, that requires time, and it's not in high enough demand to warrant the extra effort.

RPG Maker games usually run (not amazingly well, but they run) under wine if you install the rtps. Renpy games often come with a shell script to play them natively, otherwise you can download the renpy sdk and play through that (or use wine, I guess). Flash should work too.
Other stuff seems to be try it out and don't be surprised if it doesn't run.

I'm a C++ programmer, and have decided to make game.
Only issue is, I'm not an artist and not the best writer.
I have two ideas for games:
One would be pretty quick, about a device that lets people go into T.V. shows / movies / videogames, perhaps lets you kidnap girls from them, then could do some sort of slave trainer type deal with them.
Could make it very easy to mod / even make a level editor type deal so people from /weg/ could add content if they want.
Other idea would take a lot longer to make, a sort of strategy game where you play as orcs and can kidnap people during fights, then breed them to make new warriors, etc.
What do you guys think? I'm thinking the first one for now, because it wouldn't be very hard to make and wouldn't take very long at all.

They need to cut down on the fucking encounter rate fucking hell I thought FF had issues with the encounter rate being absurd at times this.... This was just mother fucking excessive and imo killed the gameplay. I also agree with the mazes I got a head ache from doing just the first one please stop with the maze shit having them every so often in your game is one thing but to many no.

This is a known bug. Also if you are playing Malice and Machine make sure to install the RTP ACE in the default location or else a certain twinkle sprite won't show up which will make you8r life much harder.
