The artist is too lazy/incompetent to draw comics, yet still wants to put a story next to their art. They can't have them both. If they can't be bothered to do a proper comic story, they should just stick with single images. Reading this much in a visual medium is too much to ask for. It should be about the visuals, not what they can type. Every talentless idiot can come up with the scenarios, those don't deserve this much attention over the artwork.
Having said that, I don't mind it being posted here, just keep it contained to its own threads. It decreases the quality of the board, but if you insist on posting it, at least do it in a civilised way.

To my knowledge, the captions are added after the fact by random anons, yes, wanting to put a story to whatever picture they have. What's wrong with that?

So what, because it's an image it can't have text? The story is a companion piece to the image. The visuals quickly establish what's happening, allowing the text to back it up with some fine written smut.
Now, admittedly there's more than their fair share of shitty captions (Whether that be fetish wise or general quality wise is subjective) but it's a perfectly fine medium of storytelling, which is ultimately what it is.
tldr: Captions aren't pictures with a story slapped on them, they're stories that use pictures to frame them.

I thought about making a thread like this one on /d/, but then I remembered that whole Elzi situation, and the mods seemed pretty down about captions for a while there. So I'm not sure what, if anything, had changed since then. I might still try and make a thread, but if it doesn't work out I'll probably just make an imgur link if anyone is still interested at that point.
In the meantime, I'm doing some new stuff at the moment anyway, so if y'all got any requests, I'd be happy to give 'em a shot.
