SFM shit can be okay, but most SFM animators don't really know how to animate or how to light scenes so they end up looking shit.
The ones that confuse me are the SFM pictures though, like they could have at least done some editing that you can't do in the standard SFM animations -- added convincing cum, or edited the skin of the model in the image to look more convincing. But no, most of them make a shitty pose, take a picture, and are done with it.

SFM critics all think they're fucking cinematographers. Most of the lighting tricks are to cover up SFM faults. You might have noticed that nobody does the same in mainstream porn.
I've got to agree with you on the stills though. Half-an-hour in Gimp using a mouse could improve most works. I used to like to do things such as fix the broken hips and shoulders, remove polygon edges and stop cum looking like toothpaste. It made fapping a lot easier.
