Death of the author is like if your work ends and the credits roll and then you say "That person's sexual orientation is <this.>" They couldn't show or say that Korra and Asami are bisexual because Bryke can't write much less write well so they did it after the show was over rather than weave and establish the strength of their bond.
I would hope that this would at least draw out porn but it's stagnated. Porn is made of shows and things that have long ended.

That's... not what Death of the Author is. The point of Death of the Author is that you completely disregard authorial intent, context, and statements and only interpret and analyse based only on the content of the work itself. Like for example when people theorise that in Harry Potter the chosen one was Neville Longbottom all along, or that in Star Wars the rebels were the real bad guys.
Under that perspective you could pretty much go either way w/r/t korrasami.

It's still bullshit. All of the characters from Avatar are underage, but nobody deletes Azula, Mai, Katara, etc. Tai Lee has her own thread now for fucks sake. Bolin, Korra, and Opal are underage until Book 4,and Asami and Mako are underage until Book 3, but nobody removes those images. The mods take down Book 4 Jinora posts and she's the same age as Katara in the original series. You couldn't have a decent Avatar/Korra thread without underage pics. Fucking hypocrite mods.
