Yeah I didn't really like her in that either.
My problem with her Catwoman (in addition to not really liking her acting) is that Catwoman has always had a vaguely wide face with pronounced cheekbones and sensual, almost almond shaped eyes.
Look at Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt or Michelle Pfeiffer. They all have those features whereas Hathaway has a narrow, vertical face and much rounder eyes.
On the lead up to learning about the casting I was hoping a lot more for someone like Carla Gugino or Rachel Weisz given I haven't seen either do any worse acting wise than Hathaway and they both look a lot more like a proper Catwoman.
