See, I am writing a /tg/-ish FATE-based game for /a/ (which, coincidentally, I am falling rather back on delivering, but a slightly autistic desire for it to look nice coupled with IRL troubles (a death in the family) are my defence on that front), and for it I need authentic NPC names. Now I could just go with obscure real life names from similar European cultures, but that would just not be the same. And trying to mash up led me to unsatisfying results. So "how the fuck do they do it for it to sound authentic and phonetically pleasing" is a valid question for me.

As for whether Western or Eastern? Western takes priority , but really - both .
