Gintama feels exhausting to read. It's had that "last arc feel" for the past year or so, going right from the Shogun's death into another huge arc had no time to rest. Since then it's been all action and people getting wounded to the point of death but then not actually dying. I stopped reading a few months back, I'll just wait until it's finished.

I'm happy Madao finally got a moment, but I cant help but excpect Gintoki to swoop in and steal the spot light at any moment. These arcs lately have not been very good at distributing spotlight between characters. The worst example would be the Kamui fight, where Gintoki got the last say, even though he barely has anything to do with the family feud. Would have loved a Sougo rematch or Kagura and Sougo tag team.
