It was a mixed feeling of not wanting to see some of the girls die yet knowing that it was stupid as fuck that they did survive. Would've been better if the whole show was like the OVA.

I'm still reading Kuroshitsuji. As much as I hate the main pair and the writing in general, there are some fantastic side characters.
The show was utterly forgettable, but there was just enough of best girl to keep me watching. Like, she is mirth incarnate.
