Just rewatched it last week. I blame yurifags for pushing all girl SoL series so hard and ignoring everything else.I'll never fucking understand why Non Non Biyori is treated like the pinnacle of the genre these days.

Back when Acchi Kochi aired, most people were genuinely upset that the obvious pairing never got any conclusion. The show was a giant cocktease. It was shit senpai.

Why did people expect an actual conclusion in an adaptation of a manga that was still ongoing? Not to mention, the relationship cockteasing is almost the entire point of the series.

Had a lot of fun with it, good show. Need more fantasy shows like it, Scrapped Princess, and Chaika.

That show was watched and discussed a lot all the way through the end, hyped as fuck after the stellar first episode, dropped en masse halfway through when its flaws were becoming more and more obvious, and ultimately being considered one of the worst shows of its season when it ended.

It's written by the same guy as Tatami Galaxy so it surprises me that it's so underexposed. And while the direction is not quite Yuasa tier, it's still a beautifully executed series with great art, OST and an interesting story.

I wish I liked Druaga more than I did. There where a lot of really great episodes and wonderful fantasy adventures

They did, it's usually on those AOTY charts etc as a runner up. But that means it's not underrated, this is an underwatched thread.
