I can't be the only one who thought Battle Royale was dogshit.
The emotions and drama felt very forced to be honest. Every fucking character spent their time crying, some were involved in some sappy romance bullshit. I was very disappointed to say the least.

The only thing I hated was the protagonist and his love interest. The rest of it I found very enjoyable and sometimes outright absurd.

Fuck, I hate Hollywood sometimes! You can go so far with a good script and good director, I mean you could make it super intense action horror with a subliminal message about the problem with over saturation of violence or how the human mind can turn from average HS student to full blown murderer
