I suppose frequent appearance of skin exposure or fetish outfits or sexy poses could cause a weakening of the symbolic meaning of sexual availability attributed to them, but I'd still enjoy my inherent attraction to characters's bodies in any case.
I'd think the ongoing contrast with how people dress and behave in real life would prevent any loss of value in the stimulation from anime, but maybe if someone was holed up in their room and never exposed to real people, it could be possible for it to eventually become normal instead of stimulating.
Personally I've come to appreciate fanservice more the more I've watched anime. Initially I was in the "Why not just watch hentai if you want to get your rocks off"-camp, but now I think teasing is better.

the LNs are being translated at a steady pace, I think it covered all of what the anime adapted by now, and the anime left out a shitload of detail.

Personally watching Hentai made me not care about fan service at all. Earlier I used to be the 'fan service kills anime' crowd and has discomfort even seeing cleavage even when alone.
