First episode was awesome, OP.
It was as if they wanted to lump in first episode as many cliches as possible. OST and fight were great but emperor reveal after OP was a silly move, should have put just black screen. Also, chuuni summon was hype as hell.
I liked it overall.

A show about robots that expends half episode making breakfast and scrolling phone screens is not a good robot show
A show about yuri wich characters aren't lesbians but "friends/family" is not a good yuri show
A show about cute girls doing cute things with niggas fighting in robots is not a good cute girls doing cute things show.
A show that combines different things but that doesn't combine them and just put one after another (here sol part here robot part) is not a good show that combines different thing.
The only reason someone can have to watch this thing is for waifu purposes. As an actual show just fails at everything it is.

Well that was interesting. Dumb battle harem stuff with yuri instead of a boring protag and their powers are super robots summoned with chuuni. I totally called the one girl being a princess just from her mentioning that it was an empire and giving that speech. Whatever, I want to see her romance loli-neesan while wearing that swag as fuck coat. Fuck having male characters, just assign male roles to females including love interest.
The target audience for this show is me. I loved it and I can't wait for episode 2. Getting some Symphogear vibes from this, so I guess I'll have to keep watching to see if this is a breakout masterpiece like Symphogear S1.
