I doubt she'll be killed, but I guess we'll see. I honestly have no idea what the author was intending to do with this series. How can series have any kind of continuity if you kill off your whole cast? Akame's character isn't written well enough to carry the series on her own.

It's not going to make it to the end of this year so they'll finish rounding off the cast. The anime has been pretty accurate so far about who the survivors will be.
