She's definitely well known enough now to stand on her own but I feel earlier in her career, she was known as Hanazawa's friend before Rhodanthe since HanaKana talked about how she went on a hot springs trip together and such.
after they got to know each other from Saki Achiga and Binbougami they've been going out and have been traveling together a fair bit.
They have their own radio show on youtube under Grani called Kuro Kana and Shiro Yumi where they talk about their trips quite a bit.

I have never been into Seiyuu radio shows but this honestly sounds kind of cool.
