this is literally what I did when the first season started. I think I didn't even finish the first episode.
So just to clarify this once and for all. Does this show have some kind of twist or anything, I mean like Madoka or School-Live!? What I saw really looks like a dump kids show and I honestly don't really like the whole fate franchise in general. Does it get better over time? Or are there just the kiss scenes and nothing else?

If you don't like magical girls nor fate then no, you probably won't like it.
It's basically a quite decent magical girl show set in the fate universe with the yuri fanservice upped a bit compared to most magical girl shows.
It does get more serious later on though. especially with the current season that just started.
