We had two threads yesterday. Getting your face fucked up never seems to be fatal in Baki, so I doubt Pickle is kill yet. I think Motobe will pull some ruse since he isn't in the audience.

I've been reading through the series, haven't gotten to Baki-Dou yet. Why is "strength" constantly being spelled as "strenght"? Is this some sort of dumb in-joke by the scanlators that I'm not getting?

No, Pickle isn't kill. Musashi doesn't know how to cut through his bones. See this page; Musashi's imagination of Pickle's death: in no place is Pickle cut fully *through*. His muscle has been cut into all over his body, but his bones haven't given way. Musashi's dialogue around this part in the lab was him talking about how he couldn't exactly break Pickle's body, but Pickle would still bleed to death if he cut him with a real sword. This cued Payne freaking out.
All the face thing is going to do is piss him off and make him go Scar Mode, and then we'll get a better fight.
