There's going to be a manga. Nothing was said about a season 2 yet, but the ending gives space for that. And from WIT twitter, their animators liked working on it.
It's not clear why Biba gave him the white blood. The characters don't know either from what we saw in the last scene.
What was all that bullshit about needing to be a woman to shoot the lazer beams for? They let Ikoma do it anyway, so why even write that into the show?

It's that same thing they do in shows where some character will yell "No, don't use that secret forbidden technique, it only has a 1% chance of working!"
And then "oh wow that only had a 1% chance of working I guess MC is really talented!"

Biba injected the white blood in Ikoma to remove the buff caused by the black serum because he was getting rekt.

Biba's whole deal is that he hates cowards. That's basically all there is to it. I don't know how so many people missed this. Yes, he is butthurt about his dad, but basically, he just sees the Shogun and the people living under the Shogun as cowards which is why he destroys the cities. In the end, when confronted with Ikoma, Biba realizes how much of a coward he is when he tries to kill Ikoma with the backstab. When Biba gets back up, and sees that Ikoma is dead, he's fucking pissed because he doesn't want to recognize the fact that a coward like him won against a fearless man like Ikoma.

It was a terrible asspull, same with Mumei, magical antidote that turns kabanes into not kabanes was pretty bullshit, but then again Biba was all around terribly written
