Even then, FT constantly plays with death like at first it means something then literally 1-2 chapters later it fake you out to the point it got incredibly annoying.
Lisanna for example was understandable but in the end with her it destroyed the majority of the character's(Elfman and Mirajane's) development or what kind of impact it had which made it out to be "we got lucky" after 7 fucking years. This not only later makes Lisanna useless but basically a plot device for Mrajane and Elfman to do something in order to feel important.
