In her high school life she falls in love with Kakeru, Kakeru ends up dying and so instead she falls for Suwa and begins her future with him. On the anniversary of his death, the old group reunite and write letters to their past selves not thinking it would actually change anything. In her letter she is addressing all her regrets and hoping that by writing them down her current 26 year old self will begin to let those regrets go away. However, it actually opens up an alternate universe.
So it's not really NTR in that respect.
