That's what I was feeling. I thought every girl was pretty best from the start with Hishiro being the top, clearly. Then every single one except Hishiro got worse and worse, Rena becoming the worst. They were all okay by the end though, but Hishiro showed clear improvements of character from beginning to end, climaxing with her confrontation with Rena before the volleyball tournament, which I loved.
