Anyone else feel that all these characters are great? Instead of relying on a single personality or quirk, they actually display a range of moods and opinions based on the context around them. Emilia has remained consistent but never boring. The way she handled the drama in the entire episode made perfect sense and had me realizing that she has never asked the main character for help, not even when she needed after helping the MC from some thugs.
Subaru is also consistent, but the anime honestly didn't convey enough of how obsessed he was with Emilia. Even though it can be easily seen in hindsight.
