It's very nerve racking, you have to sit there and stare at the words while the doctor interrogates you and demands to know which letter looks better while making minute changes and you just sit there and can't tell the difference but the very attractive and well educated man knows something has changed so you can either guess and maybe fuck up your prescription or say you can't tell and look like a fucking retard and even after all that you have to wait weeks for your glasses to come back and if anything bad happens you have to go back plus you have to go back to the doctor every year and do the same test over again so once a year you're committed to possibly looking like a total idiot in front of the guy.
