Yes she's Norisuke's wife. He said that they'd found a way to spare people from the curse but didn't elaborate, and based on the fact that Kaato seems to have it out for him and Jobin has heavy scarring and was fine with Damo trying to kill Norisuke, whatever it was wasn't worth it hence why Norisuke says if they don't find a cure before Tsurugi turns 10 he'll take the curse for him. We don't know what happened between those three that spared Jobin but it doesn't sound like it went particularly well. We'll find out soon now that Kaato's out of prison though.

Just really fucking shit, there's no parts that are just crazy Duwang tier stuff like "you ok reatard? I am wood" or "make everybody happy" but they're still badly translated. Still easy enough to follow to know what's going on you'll just be disappointed at the loss of characterization. There are several fights that, when translated, are going to be seen as on par with the train fight.

I've read it in Japanese and the best fights imo (so don't get disappointed if you don't like some) are the train fight, the Cioccolata fight, and the Doppio vs Nero vs Abbachio fight. Also the SCR fight and the final one with Diavolo are pretty good too, WAAAAYYYY less of a clusterfuck than they seem in English and a pretty good ending to the Part. Not the best final battle but not the worst. The ending was more symbolic than anything and it's actually a good ending if what you're reading carries those messages and wasn't half made up by a subpar translator.

I've seen many different interpretations, but this is the one I've ended up sticking with.
Basically, the only people who actually DIED at the end of Pt 6 were the people in Jolyne's party. Jotaro, Jolyne, Hermes, etc etc all physically died because they were killed by Pucci and Made in Heaven.
Throughout the rest of the world, people who weren't directly killed by MiH jumped over to the next universe with Pucci. For example, this means that the pt 4 cast was completely unaffected by Pucci. Josuke and his friends jumped over to the new universe as if nothing had happened.
Because Jotaro, Jolyne, and their friends were all killed by MiH, they were not carried over to the next universe, but were instead replaced by "alternate universe counterparts", hence why we got Irene.
Theoretically, that means that every plot point involving Jotaro and Jolyne is changed because they were "erased". Due to the butterfly effect, pretty much everything after pt 2 may not have even happened at all, which sucks to think about.
I've heard people say that Dio was also erased from existence by this, but I don't see why he would be.
It's a very confusing ending and I don't particularly like how confusing it is and how it almost "undoes" things that have happened throughout the series.
I'm still holding out hope that maybe someday, maybe in Pt 9, we'll get some closure for the original universe and it's cast.

This shit made part 6 great imo. It felt like part 1 in a sense with the hero/villain dynamic. People don't give Pucci enough credit for what he did, he literally had as much of a drive as the Joestars of each part did, and he went out of his way to accomplish it. Every time he showed up you knew something was going to go down, and he didn't just stand still and let minions deal his work for him. Caesar, Kakyoin, Avdol, Abbacchio, Fugo, all of the part 6 cast etc. all feel like they could've used a few more scenes to interact with each other which never happens which really ruffles my jammies.

I honestly liked that factor, it's because it's what you'd expect from someone like the protagonist JoJo, seeing that trait belong to a villain made the stakes feel MUCH higher and honestly made me wonder how Pucci would get destroyed in the end.I loved the ending, I read part 6 without being spoiled and it's still one of the most shocking things I've ever read through.
