After putting it off for so long because people said it was shit, and me not making my own opinion, I started watching Little Busters. I'm close to finishing the first season and I actually like it quite a lot, more so than the Visual Novel, at least the parts that are covered in the first season. I already know that Refrain cuts out a lot of stuff and the VN is probably better.
I remember when it was airing , why didn't people like it that much?

As someone who loved reading it for the first time but ended up disliking a lot of it after a while I think the anime so far is nice.

They did the most important route to set up for Refrain, Rin 2, in about 10 minutes. It was fucking ridiculous.

I know but I'm specifically talking about the first season. I'd say the animation isn't that great and the music placement is weird but the rest is nice.
I think I remember people saying that they don't like that they made all the routes into friendship instead of romance, but considering Little Busters is about friendship I don't mind also the is more Yuiko.

And yeah I also liked the anime a lot. It was touching and comfy. I ended up liking pretty much all the cast (Kurugaya still a bit bester girl than the rest, naturally). Refrain indeed feel a bit different but i think its worth the shot.

Prefering hospital has fuck all to do with shipping. It has more to do with having the intelligence to realize that Riki conquering his narcolepsy makes zero fucking sense. The entire point of Kyousuke's efforts was to get RIki and Rin away safely. That's exactly what hospital end accomplishes.

I really liked the VN apart from Kud, Mio and the big twist.
Kurugaya and Komari a best. I cried tears of joy when I found pic related in some small otaku store.
