And same here. I was slightly disappointed the setting was left a little too loose despite all the hints at how certain things worked that ended up serving nothing but worldbuilding, but I'm thoroughly satisfied with the character progression for the kids, particularly Coco's.

I'm satisfied with the ending, I just wished that the author would've explained how the monsters came to be instead of leaving it to the reader to come up with their own thing.
