Who would win?
the judges
If we're going by feats alone then it's Soma, if we're going off of anime logic, then Ramsay.

Ramsay

Ramsay
>>143235646
^This.
>>143235624
If it's just a straight-up challenge to prepare some number of courses of whatever type, then Ramsay would have a huge advantage thanks to the sheer number of near-perfect dishes he has up his sleeve. Soma could potentially win a more gimmicky challenge though.
>>143235624
Well souma definitely has the talent and has been shown to overcome challenges when given multiple tries,HOWEVER...
Ramsay has 3 Michelin stars
A challenger appears.
>>143236410
I don't think it's possible to out cook him. He has a fucking Stand to make things delicious and healthy.
>>143235624
If we're actually going by skill level then Soma, but that's mainly due to anime being anime and making everyone be so unrealistically good at what they'd do. It's like asking if Michael Jordan could beat Akashi in a one-on-one. Assuming that Ramsay has his real world level of skill transferred to anime proportions then he'd most likely be able to make lobster paella out of an empty tin can and deflated car tire.
>>143236538
>Assuming that Ramsay has his real world level of skill transferred to anime proportions then
Then it's over. His beef wellingtons would cause instant ejaculation.
>>143236619
>tfw Humanity evolves into anime because of Ramsey's cooking
>>143236410
Tonio would win for sure. I was salivating during that episode

>>143236410
2 op pls nerf
the squid with peanut butter is RAW
It'll be Ramsay. Ramsay has pretty much achieved what Soma's dad's achieved except in real life.
Is cooking boy master or yakitake japan the best two cooking manga of all time?
>Ramsey
>good cook
Nothing but a hack.
WHERE'S THE LAMB SAUCE
>>143235624
That's like asking if Takumi from Initial D is better than the stig from Top Gear.
>>143239091
>Nothing but a hack.
He has dozens of recipes on youtube anon. You can literally try them out for yourself if you have any doubts.
For an example, check out his Shepherd's Pie recipe and note how there are SO MANY SOURCES OF UMAMI.
Just a few of them:
>tomato paste
>Worcestershire sauce
>dat Parmesan cheese in the mash!
>>143236410
Tonio is too broken.
>>143239091
His 7 Michelin stars would prove otherwise
>>143240013
He has 14 stars.
>>143235624
How about a triple threat with a real chef
>>143235624
>>143240344
Even more the reason Ramsay wins.
Shinomiya doesn't even have 3, so how could souma even compare?
>>143240542
Is this the 'cooking with dog' dog?
>>143235624
ratatouille
>>143240344
Does he really? How the fuck does that happen? Does he get 3-stars in multiple restaurants or some shit?
>>143242518
This. He would wreck the shit out of both of them.
>>143242523
>>143240344
He currently only holds 9 and has been losing stars for a few years now due to handling too many restaurants and not maintaining their quality. Joel Robuchon has 25 and Alain Ducasse has 21.
>>143242842
That's insane.
>>143235624
>>143235624
>143235624
Souma, because he is a Gary Stu.
>>143235624
THE EGG IS FUCKING RAAAAWW
>>143242842
>Joel Robuchon has 25
Okay what the hell I'm just looking at the sort of dishes Joel's restaurants serve and they're completely inhuman.
Gordon
>>143244036
>and now we will cook these eggs sous vide at exactly 63.5 degrees for 45 minutes.
I swear this dude is what Alice Nakiri would be like if she was realand an old man.
>>143244036
This was the guy who threw a plate at Ramsey for being a pleb when he was training under him.
>>143244163
I thought Ramsay trained under Marco Pierre White, not Joel Robuchon...
>>143244163
>gets a plate thrown at him
>cries from Marco Pierre White
Ramsey is something else
>>143244129
Speaking of eggs
>>143244181
He worked for both.
>>143244181
He worked at several places before starting his own restaurant.
>>143235624
This Guy.
>>143243413
Iron Chef was so fucking good.
And now for a REAL chef
>>143235624
Who is the guy on the left?
As Souma takes his dish from the oven, chef Ramsay has finished plating five servings, read the latest issue of the Times twice over and brewed tea with scones for all the spectators.
Dogma outclass em all

>>143243413
>not Rokusaburou Michiba
Good choice, but not the best.
>>143243413
this legend right here.
>>143235624
>>143244163
So Ramsay is this suave motherfucker?
>>143244129
>mfw I used to watch his show on TV when I was a kid
>>143243413
Sakai don't fuck around, they should get him to guest voice himself in the show.
>>143236410
Tonio should be banned. Stands are bullshit.
>>143247938
Not gonna lie, Ramsay has been a huge inspiration to me. If it wasn't for all the fun I had watching shit like Kitchen Nightmares I'd never have found cooking interesting enough to bother to learn. Now, many recipes later, I know the ins and outs of basically all mainstream cooking techniques for all major vegetables and proteins.
SnS was what got me interested in umami though. When you know how umami works you're practically able to hack taste into food. Then when you go back and look at recipes by famous chefs, you see the umami everywhere and it hits you that that's what they were doing all along too!
>>143236410
>>143248528
>>143236481
He doesn't even need his Stand to compete.
He got his Stand because he was already a good cook.
Here I come.
>>143248948
>He doesn't even need his Stand to compete.
By anime logic he does. He's against two inhumanly overpowered chefs who can essentially maximize taste.
>soma presents his dish
>it's grilled salmon with a dill butter sauce, topped off with some sliced cucumber
>the judges all seem impressed
>suddenly
>ramsay shakes his head
>"fockin' 'ell"
>he picks up a piece of salmon and tells his cameraman to zoom in on it
>"no faffin' around, cameraman, zoom in further"
>cameraman is now literally using his camera as a microscope
>camera starts shaking furiously, going in and out of focus
>finally they hit maximum youtube zoom
>gordon sees each and every individual cell of the fish's meat
>gordon's stoic mask drops into an angry frown as he furiously chucks the piece of salmon at the wall
>"this isn't evenly cooked!"
>"IT'S FUCKING RAW!"
>soma forfeits
>gordon didn't even have to cook his dish
>gordon wins again
>>143248989
Why did you post a picture of Soma using Unlimited Blade Works?
>>143235624
I think Souma would score mad points for creativity and technique, but get punked in presentation. Ramsay's too seasoned to make such an error though even he'd probably be impressed by Souma's immense talent.
Fuck, now I want to see Souma compete on Hell's Kitchen.
>>143248743
>Japs got angry their cooking was considered subpar by the world
>literally concoct a fifth taste, name it, convince everyone it exists, and reveal the secret shame of chefs worldwide that they've been cheating all along
Umami was meant to be revenge, but it turned out to be revelation instead.
>>143235624
Those two cant even compete
>>143250168
>Awarded with the gold star of excellence by the US war dept and the Order of Lenin.
How can other chefs compete?
>>143240542
>Two guest chefs are invited to the Academy: Gordon Ramssy and Francis
>Shokugeki commences
>"Woah, Francis isn't using someone to do his work for him? This is the first time I've seen him cook with his own two paws!"
>"He must be getting serious!"
>Francis has a worried look on his face
>"This brat... he's good. I'll have to use... THAT"
>The skin on Francis' paws rips and tears, fully evolved human hands pop out
>The entire crowd is in awe
>>143250153
Seems a bit too convenient that they'd pretend to create a fifth taste and just so happen to actually identify a real one.
