It's kind of freaky how much this series deserves an anime. I'm usually against adaptations because people always want action shows adapted, and without good budget and great animators it's never gonna do the source material justice.
But Kaguya is different, it's mostly dialogue. As long as they have good art design, good voice acting and direction, they can make it on a relative shoestring budget and still knock it out of the park.
The only voice talent that is an absolute requirement is Kaiji's narrator.
I hyped myself too much for Ishigami and although there's nothing wrong with him, I can't help but feel really disappointed.
