These two panels are interesting. Momoze's waving at her mother with a rather forlorn expression. Meanwhile, Sevanchi waves back with her eyes closed and isn't paying attention to Marayam.
Sevanchi might have high expectations for Momoze, probably because she's older, but she doesn't care about her like Mito cares for Gon which could explain her expression in that panel. Meanwhile, Sevanchi doesn't care for Marayam at all. Calling it now, Sevanchi is a shit mom despite being a low ranking queen.
I think that Togashi chose Senritsu, Izunabi, Hanzo and Biscuit to guard these particular princes for the sake of giving them development. Hanzo and Biscuit, the liveliest/loudest ones, will be like older siblings to Momoze and Marayam. Senritsu will teach Kacho not to be a bitch. Tyson likes handsome men, and Izunabi is a handsome man.
As for Basho and Luzurus, they're probably around the same age.

Meruem started as as a psychotic killer, partially due to the fact that the CA had eaten a ton of "evil" people. Meruem became a psychotic killer whose actions were both morally justified and obligated. It was interesting to see him accept Komugi as being stronger in areas he realized he could never reach. Perfect example is how he regrets killing a child, his explanation being the child could have been stronger at a field in some way better than him. This is sort of a shitty train of thought as how exactly is someone better than you? What if a basketball player is the best at 3 pointers but is horrible at anything else and is therefore bad at b-ball. Would Meruem consider this 3-ball player a "genius"? Netero realized that Mereum was going to judge peoples worth based on his perception, because he is both human and ant this is impossible to fairly. I don't think Netero liked the idea of an ant judging his or others worth and so he attacked him. As a character from another race he's pulled off very well and has a great amount of character development. tl;dr: He's really only evil to humans, if you were a CA his actions are absolutes so his plans are actually very nice. Personal Opnion: His plan sounds nice but it's pretty stupid and he should have just stuck to gungi.

He's not really comparable to humans, his entire existence is very different from ours. He was literally a newborn baby following his natural instincts while also having the mental capacity to consciously think about it, and learn and change. Meruem was basically a version of how humans look to other races. Unthinkably intelligent and powerful with zero regard for anyone he tramples. His attempt to rationalize his world takeover with theories of just government reflects how we rationalize our own choices, and decision to keep humans alive in a special zone is a lot like what we do with animals we've conquered, placing them in a zoo. Yes, Meruem is a good character who makes an interesting statement about humanity. But he's not a good person, which imo was the point.

Personally, the best part of the Chimera Ant arc was how Gon and Meruem were parallels of each other with similar development despite never meeting. CA made Gon feel a lot more grounded compared to the average Shounen Jump MC. I feel that Leorio has a lot of room for development, and Killua can be a little shit at times.

He always had an image of Pitou being an evil monster, so seeing the ant heal another person must've been a hell of a shock to him. The MC losing control of his emotions isn't new in Jump, but it's when Gon threatened the innocent Komugi's well being that made him seem more "grounded." He thinks that killing Komugi will hurt Pitou just as killing Kite hurts him even though it would mostly piss off the King.
