Together with the Desert Apostle’s scientists, he first created Sasorina, followed by Kumojacky and finally, Cobraja. In one of the Precure continuities the god of the Earth is a pedophile whose steamy affairs cause a mind-broken victim to go on a world-conquering rampage. So guess how he tries to set things straight? He goes around spreading his "love seeds" to all the pretty young girls he can find around the world, impregnating them with his power. He calls them Pretty Cure and tasks them with removing the darkness from the world, conveniently not mentioning where it came from. I'll say Mirai drools about half a teaspoon of saliva every night, but I'm probably being too generous. I like to think she drools a lot. 1.5 cups seems a like a good amount in a glass for me. Oh boy.
One of the most important things to me in any given show are the characters, and this is something Hacha completely flounders on. Hime is ok when she isn't being uniquely stupid. Megumi is lacking in personality, which I imagine has something to do with her not being the main character in the first half. First-half Iona is obnoxiously mean while second-half Iona is boring. Truth be told, i borderline like Yu2 when she isn't talking about food, but she is ALWAYS talking about food. Gorging yourself in dragon ball or yes 5 is one thing, but just about everything she says and does relates to food.
Other than that: a compilation styled season ala Gaim in a series that is constantly referencing previous seasons or reusing plots is redundant. The show wants to be HC 2.0 but the fights can't live up to it; they look cool at first, but often lack the impact in HC, which again, is only a problem because it looks like HC. The different forms were relegated almost exclusively to stock footage, a problem Maho is actually fixing. MOTW all look mostly the same. Hime opening pandora's box was stupid, Iona forgave her way too easily given that revelation, Blue is fucking stupid, the romance stuff was stupid, and the typical plot of a normal episode past the first half was almost always boring.
That lengthy diatribe aside, Lovely fights like a giant robot, Princess fights like Vegeta, Yu2 has an Akuma teleport, it had a decent final arc, the movie was pretty good, and the anniversary intros were cool.

Every year is a separate series, and they range from lazy and samey to decently written. It's only a kids show and mostly just a vehicle for selling cheap plastic toys, after all. It helps a lot if you're a little girl.

So here's my opinion. It was good overall so I tell just what I didn't like. They pushed too much on MOTWs having some drama issues, they could go more silly. Also they used MOTWs as a tool for "speaking your mind so everyone can understand your problems" too much. I liked that dead mother one or father-son-fastfood one was pretty heartwarming, but they didn't have to push that card almost every episode. Second thing I didn't like was OST. It is objectively bad. Maybe if it had better OST HC would be as good as Doki. Aside that it was good and enjoyable and had best finale. Dune was maybe some random villain, but I liked his attitude. Not expecting anything from anyone, cynical and chilled. I selfinserted pretty easily. And best precure award goes for Itsuki, because she was only one I dreamed about, so I guess she left good impression inside my brain or something.
