Kotoura-san seems like edgy shit. Edge wears off in the episode where she pukes. I remember the girl in OP's pic claiming rape in the manga. The anime is basically a watered-down version of the manga. All it got right was the first 10 minute. In short, its betrayal of the theme of the manga so that it can be a "comfy" anime led to its downfall.
