Technically it's not an adaption
It's an entirely new route that was okayed by Nasu. A bit divergent from CCC, taking in all the scrapped ideas that didn't make it into CCC, but we're still good enough to be mentioned they were cut.
Like how Sacchins route was cut, but what if there was a manga.

Chapter-unlocks get added to the event gacha if they get a rate-up. Nero had one a long time ago.
