Mayoiga, at least I can fap to the female designs in Stray Dogs and Endride was never bad in my opinion. It was just generic, I guess it would have worked 20 years ago and I kinda enjoy Kiznaiver even though it had some boring episodes before.

Winter doesn't seem to be particularly bad off, there's a decent amount of variance though. There obviously might be an extra/less 2-3 anime per year depending on your tastes though.
Though to be fair some of the worst sequel fuck ups in recent memory also came in winter.

I'm not saying there are no good anime in winter, but there's usually less than other seasons. The big, hyped projects usually air in spring or fall. Of course they're not always better than "smaller" series.
Winter 2015 I only liked Death Parade, Durarara Shou and Kuroko no Basket 3rd season. This year I liked Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu, KonoSuba, Durarara Ketsu and Akagami no Shirayuki-hime, so a little better.

Hero Academia's problem is the pacing. 100 year old people can complete a mile run faster than that show is moving along.
Kiznaiver is good and Mayoiga, despite kinda disappointing me, definitely had its moments. My least favourite show this season was Kuma Miko I guess, I didn't even bother finishing the first episode.

Bungou Stray Dogs has redeemed itself a little with the last couple of episodes, and it has some quality animation.
I like Endride as a comfy adventureand it has a qt loli.
Mayoiga is just bad. There is no enjoyment to be had anywhere. It isn't funny, it isn't intentionally over the top, half the characters receive no development, nearly every plot twist could be seen coming a mile away, there are literally no redeeming factors to this show, other than maybe it has a catchy OP.
