How exactly? It was pretty predictable, formuliac and it, being the first chapter of all things, used an asspull.
Also seems like it's about magic, so it's an easy 0/10 right of the bat.
How was it strong at all? This is the chapter that has the most work put into it, taking that into account and they couldn't even get a fucking premise going? Reread chapter 1 of Bleach (or the first ep, since it fixes some shit) to understand what I mean with good pilot.
