Hisoka was way overpowered to begin with. Now his Nen is many times stronger and he's literally unstoppable. Let me remind you that now he's not only a master transmuter but a master conjurer as well, being able to create and integrate any sort of material with his new Texture Surprise.
The greatest part is that unlike Gon-san, Zombie Hisoka doesn't have any nasty restrictions to his powers. He is literally the same old Hisoka and he will continue to grow stronger with every fight. Is there a limit to his potential? Probably not, as indicated by his perfect stat in the character book. At the moment, he is one of the strongest characters in the manga.

I would like to refer to the events prior to the fight between Hisoka and Chrolo.
The build up for the Dark Continent Expedition Arc is a mess. Reading about the politcial stand of each continent, followed up by the heirs of Kakin's preparation to set on a journey to the DC was boring.
I love Hunter x Hunter like everyone else does, but sometimes you have to put up with some shit that comes across as unnecessarily long. Nobody, not even your keenest reader, is going to remember everything in detail by the time we get to see the relevant action taking place.
Especially so in this case, where the publication of this story can be inconsitent to say the least.

Let's discuss this from objective point of view.
There can only be two conclusions from where I see it:
1. You're right. Hisoka's nen has become much stronger since his death, and he has now developed not only more power, but infinite potential.
2. His nen only became stronger when he died. Wich means that it only spiked up for a few seconds to get him back to life, and his nen is now back to normal.
Maybe it's even both. He is stronger now, but there's gotta be some backlash to such sudden improvement in raw strenght.

At this point, even the King couldn't touch him unless he had Reader-level (class 2) - or possibly even Author-level (class 1) knowledge of Hisoka and his powers. Cut off his head? He'll use Bungee Gum to reattach it and join his severed veins.
Destroy his heart? He'll create a Bungee Heart and use expansion and contration to pump it.
Incinerate him? His soul will stick the atoms back together.
And every time you kill him... he comes back stronger than before.
