It's Suneohair honestly.
Their songs evoke a very melancholic but reminiscent emotion.
Probably one of the main reasons why Honey & Clover was well received was their god tier EDs.
It's mysterious but even if you don't feel much for the characters or series itself, hearing Suneohair play makes you feel sad that the episode is over. Their songs only work as ED's for that reason.

This episode was great. I really didn't like the mom before but she kind of redeemed herself.
