Is there anyone still confused by Yhwach's power? I thought this chapter made perfect sense of it but there seemed to be a lot of people who were still in the dark last thread.
Or general Bankai predictions. Perhaps his Bankai is contained in the smaller blade? It must be powerful if it requires a separate blade from White.

I think you're missing the point. With his Hollow powers alone, Ichigo was able to compete with Yhwach to the point where he had to use The Almighty. Like with Aizen, as long as Ichigo can effectively surpass Yhwach in pure power than The Almighty is meaningless; although I'm sure Yhwach has more up his sleeve than The Almighty alone.

Well, Everyone, including Aizen knew Ichigo had a power that transcendid Shinigami and Hollow. Old Man Zangetsu along with Ichiogo's Hollow/Shinigami hybrid, gave Ichigo a power that surpassed Aizen who at the time had an ability that surpassed the power of individual zero squad members, maybe even a few if not all of them.

He's only used his Hollow power until now. His Bankai likely incorporates his Blut to increase his power and regeneration. Tenza Zangetsu is essentially his 'Quincy' power anyways, I imagine his new Bankai will have a new name, as Renji's did, because of Monk.

- Sternritter D kicked Ichigo's ass, then Chad and Orihime's asses, then Yoruichi's brother's ass, then Yoruichi's ass (but not before she showed a more powerful Shunko and a new cat form), then Urahara used bankai, and then Grimmjow sneak attacked D and ripped out his heart. Nel is coming to pick up the wounded.
- Sternritter M is Soul King's heart and he can't fucking die no matter what kind of powerups everyone pulls out of their asses. Kenpachi used bankai (and yes, Yachiru is his zan), Hitsugaya activated adult mode, Byakuya used upgraded Senkei, but M keeps coming back stronger than before.
- Chad and Ganju are fighting some stupid statues.
- Rukia and Renji are going to where Ichigo is.
- Isshin and Ryuken have arrived to Soul King's realm.
- Ichigo fights Yhwach while Orihime provides him with defense and healing (but he told her to get back to safety now that he's getting serious). Ichigo can now grow a horn at will (like the ones he had when he went Super Hollow) and combine Gran Rey Cero with Getsuga. Now he's using bankai.

And my gut tells me, that's why Ywach also is unable to utilize the Almighty against Ichigo, specific to it's ability to read the future. When you have an entity before you, that represents a limitless variable, it is a perfect hard counter for the ability to view all diverging possibilities of time.
Renji is a plus soul that channeled his powers into an Asauchi, therefore he had to fight another to regain trust to get his blade forged anew. Ichigo, however, IS the Asauchi. It is also why, therefore, his own Asauchi, has a BLANK WHITE mask.

It's a melee type sword. He used to be 11th division but was promoted to a Lieutenant seat because he improved his Kido and Shunpo abilities. He's essentially just a well-rounded fighter who knows how to support his Captain and comrades.

Which makes sense in some instances. Ikkaku has a melee type zan, but it gives him spear range and surprise attacks with the splitting ability. Hisagi has a melee zan, but it gives him unpredictable, fast attacks and is good at long and short ranges.
All of that said, I can't see any way that Iba's shikai offers him advantages over a simple, sealed katana. It's a bit wider and has a random protruding spike. That's all. It might be better than his tanto sealed zan, but if he had a normal katana sealed zanpakuto, it would give him literally no advantage that I can think of.

Honestly it seems average for a Shinigami of the 11th division who specialize in brute force. The unfocused design may represent his lack of specialization. I don't think it matters. Kubo seems to have forgotten about Iba and doggy-Komamura. We'll never get to see his bankai if he has one. We'll probably never even get to learn his shikai's name.
Hisagi had part of a chapter dedicated to him getting a bankai and has just been trashed since, so we're never getting that either. Not even sure why Kubo went through the trouble of teasing his bankai.
It also seems like we might not get Shinji (getting the Hisagi treatment) or Love's (one panel'd) bankais either. Let alone Ukitake who seems to be dead.
It seems like he's rushing toward the end as fast as possible. We still have Ryuken and Isshin to show off since they appeared. Probably so Isshin can use his bankai to defeat Gerard and reunite with Hitsugaya and Ryuken can help Uryu beat Haschwalth, who will reveal the full nature of his schrift.

I think Ikkaku is the most underrated character in the manga and easily in my top five. Both of his two major fights (against Ichigo and against Edrad) are two of the best in the series in terms of pure swordplay and coolness. His bankai, while unfortunately broken before Kubo decided that broken bankai can't be fully repaired, remains one of the coolest designed bankai in the series. I also think he's probably the most underrated pure swordsman in the manga. His sword skills are top tier even if his other skills aren't. It's a shame Kubo has had him job in every fight since Edrad though.

I don't think it will end particularly soon, but there don't seem to be enough enemies left for the amount of characters that need a chance to show some abilities. You could maybe add some more if the theory about the Royal Guard switching sides to Yhwach, but that might not even happen. Though RG fights would be the perfect way to team up characters for fights to show off their powers without needing one-on-one fights for everyone.
Ichigo going bankai already seems to imply that his fight is nearing its conclusion and, with all of the hype around his new zanpakutos and bankai, to have him just get trashed so he can fight Yhwach again later seems strange.

I like Rukia as much as the next guy but if there is going to be a romantic conclusion in Bleach, which I wouldn't hold my breath for, then I don't see Rukia being the one to end up with Ichigo.

They wouldn't become villains, just enemies. If it's for the sake of the Seretei, they would oppose Ichigo. Or rather Ichigo would oppose them. For example, they want to lock up Ichigo and probably make him a Soul King. Ichigo doesn't want to be a Soul King, so that could create conflict. Ichibee or Urahara could also become the main antagonist. Ichibee had that suspicious moment after he was defeated and Urahara has a Bankai whose main ability is to deconstruct reality and put it together as he wants to. After all his speeches, that's a red flag. And Hitsugaya said even if the scales of right and wrong turn on it's head, Renji and Rukia would still choose to be on Ichigo's side. That could be foreshadowing that the two will eventually do that. Why else would Kubo sent the two to the throne room? They can't do anything against Yhwach. And Hitsugaya's speech is strange, because it was just before Haschwalth's speech about the scales of right and wrong.

They don't have a weakness. Hollows are poisonous to Quincy and vice versa. So a Quincy would have to consume the Hollow before it could be effective or otherwise it would be venomous. And it's possible that the Viazrds can't use Bankai and the mask together.
