I still don't get how Bebop of all things didn't go ahead. From all of the rumored live action adaptations it's the one that would make the easiest transition. Space opera with jazzy track, a formula you can build upon so no need for a straight adaptation, and they would have a lot of leeway with the races, even the ones born in asian areas could be mixed in that setting so no whitewashing complaints.

At first thought the idea of a JoJo movie is frightening, but on second thought it's actually a neat idea. There's no way it could be a faithful adaptation, but a movie adaptation that's faithful to the spirit of JoJo could work. And hell, the Stands are an action movie director's dream.
>Jotaro and gang have just dealt with D'Arby inside a casino. They start to walk out in triumphant fashion when a bunch of security guards start to rush them. The camera stays on them as they keep walking uninterrupted, showing us security guards being thrown back by what appears to be nothing. The camera cuts to another angle, showing us Star Platinum beating the shit out of the guards as they have no idea what's going on. The camera cuts back as Jotaro's group exits the casino, showing one last guard getting thrown into the air by what appears to be nothing.
We could also have car chases where Stands come out and wreck shit while the users are still driver their cars. Maybe in the movie Dio takes a more active approach in fighting Jotaro and company and we can see him coming up with clever ways of avoiding the sun (he drives a car with tinted windows, maybe at one point he has to exit the car so he has The World knock over a building and then stops time when the shadow of the toppling building is on top of him).

Alita's character is basically what Wonder Woman should be: she lives to fight, and relishes every moment of it.
