Holy shit these fucking feels, nobody warned me of this shounenkino, what a ride.

Also, HXH general, which are you favourite arcs? I enjoyed all of them except Heaven Arena.
I like how each arc has a touch of other genres:

Hunter Exam=Generic lighthearted shounen
Heaven Arena=Tournament
Yorkshin=Noir Drama
Greed Island=RPG/Pokemonesque shounen
Early Chimera Ant=Horror
Late Chimera Ant=War and phylosophical shit

I recently decided to start reading the manga from where the anime left off, and I can't help but cringe, the art is so fucking terrible that I have no clue how this guy has been drawing for so long.
It's worse than YYH.
Was it just those last 2-3 chapters of the gon's dad arc that were so bad? Because I really couldn't keep reading that shit.

Heaven's Arena
Yorkshin (it's more of a thriller to me)
Greed island
Chimera Ant

And I agree with the different themes per arc. It's like watching several anime in 1 show.
