Hero Academia - kinda generic plot wise but I like watching characters overcoming shit with willpower and hard work

Concrete Revolutio - fine as first season was
Flying Witch - was expecting it to be more like Natsume so I'm a bit disappointed. Still comfy and kind show.
JoJo - more dynamic and fun to watch than part 3

Kiznaiver - I don't care about the plot and where is it going, I'm just having fun to watch these bunch of retarded characters with issues.
Kabaneri - fine titans ripoff
Kuma Miko - I don't like Miko's lewds and abuse otherwise it's fine. I want to punch bear though.
Kuromukuro - cluelessness of samurai that was put in modern setting is moe and fun.
Macross Δ - good to see human enemies for a change.
Mayoiga - threads are too much fun

Nijiiro Days - getting tired of that fuckboi trying to woo the lesbian arc

Season is fantastic already but may end up even better if originals can crank up the hype in a few eps (Hai Furi, Mayoiga, Kiznaiver etc). Luluco is already starting to generate some hype and would make /a/ explode if this is actually a lead-in to KLK 2 or some kind of Trigger-verse that'll get more followups soon.

The only currently airing show I'm watching is kabaneri. I dropped shounen maid and pan de peace, may pick up shounen maid again if I finish my backlog. Plan on watching Macross Delta as soon as I finish frontier, but it's taking me forever. I wanted to watch more macross but the art and CGI of most of the series were absolute shit.

from best to worst:
- re:zero (started out great, i've heard from ln readers that the suffering only increases which will be interesting)
- boku no hero academia (considering it's a shounen i didn't expect to like it but i was pleasantly surprised)
- kabaneri (started out absolutely amazing, the last episode seems to indicate that the direction is starting to go downhill though so i hope i'll be proven wrong)
- netoge (pretty funny show, humor can occasionally be stale but overall worth watching)
- kiznaiver (not great, but the concept is interesting enough)
- sakamoto (humor is repetitive but has its moments, though i wouldn't really recommend it)
- mayoiga (first two episodes drew me in, but the execution [lol] is extremely messy and it feels like wasted potential. most recent episode does show some promise but some of the "horror" elements were just plain laughable)
- asterisk s2 (as shitty as before, i only keep up with it to make fun of it or maybe for the guns loli)
- bakuon (watched like half an episode, instantly dropped. one of the most stupid things i've ever seen)

BNHA has a great opening and is a faithful adaptation but way too faithful. Pacing killed it for me.

Everything else didn't look interesting to me so I never bothered.
Only watching Kuma Miko. It's pretty cute and comfy, if a little shallow. I know what I'm into and this is definitely it though. It's just a little too in your face about knowing what I'm into sometimes I guess.

Again, the only distinction between, for example, the OP's classifications of "pretty good", "above average", "average" (let's stop there), and a rating system is that ratings are only implicit in his post. Everything he's done corresponds to a number and uses the same logic one would use in the application thereof.
"Pretty good"? In ratings parlance, about an 8. Maybe a 7.5-8. That is to say, "pretty good" can be alternately read as "7.5-8", which is only a margin of error of .5.
"Above average"? In ratings parlance, a 6-7. That is to say, "above average" can be alternately read as "6-7", which is only a margin of error of 1.
"Average"? About a 5. That is to say, "average" can be alternately read as "5", which is only a margin of error of 0.
It's important to help you understand that the logical system the brain would use to categorize and rate anime is the same in both cases, and the only difference is how they've been explicitly rendered.
