I've yet to see a collection that didn't look cluttered or that didn't make a room look cluttered. I'm not sure what it would take to make figures look like they fit into a room, rather than filling it or being an area that stands out.

The problem here is that in this hobby once you start it's kinda hard to stop. Once you have a lot of figs you can't just throw them around the room without it looking messy so people put them in display cases.
