It have been announced that Shinohara Kenta is going to start new space adventure series called Kanata no Astra in Shounen Jump+ on May 9.
So what does /a/ think Sket Dance? are you excited about Kenta Shinohara return to Jump? will you read it if it get translated?

I hope it's not the same Gintama lite thing with super heavy drama that SKET Dance was. I liked it but holy hell was it hard to smile when you know some of things about the characters.

Just finish it, the final chapter is fairly light and while I thought it was underwhelming when it first came out, it really does end the series in a natural way

I'm sure most people who reply will have actually liked sket dance and I'm among them. Characters were really fun and likeable. Some of the hard-hitting character developments felt almost out of left field, but on their own they seemed to work alright, and overall the episodic stuff was enjoyable if not always memorable.
New thing? Maybe I'll read it. I'm not even sure what to expect though.
